MAGIC CUSCO 5Days /4Nights

1 Day: Cusco - A Combined Excursion

Reception at the airport in the city of Cusco, transfer to the 3* hotel where you will taste an aromatic coca-leaf tea, special because of the altitude of the city. It is advisable to rest during the morning to acclimatize to the altitude.

In the Afternoon: A COMBINED EXCURSION : Which consists of a visit to the Main Square, the Cusco Cathedral, The Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, and a walk along narrow streets lined by Inca walls. In and out of Cusco there are great things to admire and we will visit 4 surrounding sites as well: - The Fortress os Sacsayhuaman, a fortress built on granite, the best Inca example of military construction; - The Amphitheatre of Quenco, Inca Temple of Limestone used as a ritual center for the chicha cremonies, - Puka Pucara, an Inca military construction made up of stairs, terraces and great walls and - Tambomachay, also known as the Inca Hot Springs, it was built in 1500 AC.

2 Day: Cusco - Machupicchu

Breakfast at the hotel. Early transfer from the hotel to the train station, where you will get on the train to MACHU PICCHU.

Upon arrival at the station of Puente Ruinas at the foot of the mountain, you will be transferred to the ruins by minibus. A guide tour to " The Lost City of the Incas". Buffet lunch. Return to the city of Cusco by train in the late afternoon.

Reception at the train in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the selected hotel.

   

3 Day : Cusco - Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel. A full day excursion at "Sacred Valley of the Incas", where you will have the opportunity to visit the town of Pisac, its fair and indian market, where a great variety of beautiful handicrafts are offered. Iy our excursion is on Sunday, we will attend to a Mass celebrated in the Quechua language with the attendance of indian mayors or Varayoc. We continue our trip, visiting the villages of Colca, Boya, Yucay, Lamay and Urubamba, which is well-known as the Pearl of Vilcanota, because of its impressive countrysides and healthy weather

Buffet lunch is incluyed. A visit to the "Fortress of Ollantaytambo", a superb Inca fortress made of megalithic stones at Tahuantinsuyo times, which was formed by temples, terraces and aqueducts, a completed system of water irrigation channels and drainage.

Coming back to Cusco, we will visit the village of chincheros, antique agricultural Indian centre with a beautiful andean landscape. It stands out its colonial church as its textile as well.

Accommodation at the selected hotel. In order to do this excursion, it is needed to buy a Combined ticket (BTI Boleto Turístico Integrado).

   

4 Day: Excursión to South Circuit Tipon Pikillacta Andahuaylillas.

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the south Circuit, We are going to visit the experimental Inca center of Tipon, the Pre Inca construction , considered as a first Order civil monument of Wari Culture located in Pikillaqta. A small Church of Andahuaylillas Town called Peruvian Sistine Chapel, it contains wall paintings, altars, models from the Cusco College (Escuela Cusqueña) Return to Cusco Hotel in Cusco

5 Day Cusco - Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from the hotel to the airport at the convenience time.
